Depends on who you talk to....LOL...i applied to TI...I love the name TI...but I realize we are now TU.  It doesn't offend me if someone says it...most of the time they are being a smart a-- anyways...and I don't entertain most of those kinds anyways....

But if that was for me about the misspelling..I will apologize to you and school for any mistakes that were made in spelling of your great school's name.  I do not THINK it was intentional.

Its small to some but it doesn't help to make students feel include when you FVSC. They were not a part of that and to them its disrespectful.

I went to FVSC and graduated from FVSU..

I don't think it was a slight nor was it intentional...skegee is from Milledgeville so he knows a whole lot of Fort Valley folks...he probably heard FVSC the majority of his life and while typing he just slipped back into an old habit...I'm positive he didn't mean a thing by it..

I can understand if it is done repeatedly, but if a student gets upset simply because somebody said fvsc instead of fvsu then they need to build a bridge and get over it...we weren't any less a great institution when we were fvsc and not fvsu....
