are you going to go in the dj business or is this for home use.
Cholly:
Frat, your selection is thin at best.
I haven't had a turntable in almost 20 years and like you, I have about 4,000 vinyl platters in storage just waiting to be "spun again" but I can't find ANY place here in town that sells audiophile quality turntables and cartridges.
I suggest the Consumer Reports website to see if they have any reviews....
Bison 4 Life:
y,
Strictly home use.
Cholly,
There are turntables on the market just needed some clarity on brands.
y04185:
go with a direct drive turntable with metal innards. if you are lucky find one that plays 33 1/3, 45, and 78s. you can check and see what b and h carries. www.bhphotovideo.com
do you want one or two turntables.
do you have a room to set up.
do you want surround sound.
what type and how powerful is your amp.
do you need speakers.
go with double insulated and double shielded wires. also, use gold tips.
