It just amazes me that you all can find laughter and fun in someone's misery and laugh and treat a person bad because they have spirit and love for their school and are not "fair-weathered" like folks are when thier team loses or has a bad season.  Yes, win or lose by 50 or 1 I'm still there for my team and I will still drive 6 hours to see them, but many of you all have no idea what that entails for me to just do that and probably won't unless you actually meet me.   I could handle anything any Pembroke state fan had to say because I expect that but from my onnidan family to just badger me when infact I was on suicide watch because of fear of facing you all then I finally get to a computer and find this a joke about something that was real.  As hard as I am on you eagles, if I was that hard or if it was bad for me to have that much faith in my team, the only school that gave a 215 lb lineman a chance then I do apologize.

Look you need to thank us Eagles for looking out for FSUHALL.  It was Slope who placed the 911 call after seeing the final score.  RichEagle took away all sharpe objects and Big Gray took away Hall's  shoe laces  and belt.  I ordered the jacket so he would look llike this and not hurt himself.  If it were not for us the Bears, Rams and Vikings would have been all over him.  We even kept the Aggies off him to allow him to heal mentally.

Since you have hijacked this into an Eagle thread, nono2 please be advised that FSU was notified on the Friday before the game that their starting QB was ineligible for the game.

Obviously this had an impact since the backup QB had not gotten many reps in the weeks leading up to the first game of the season.

The result may not have changed but, in defense of the Broncos, changing plans on 24 hours notice for the season opener can have an impact on one's performance.

I don't know about the Spades correlation but I will tell you like my mom taught me....someone else started it (HBCU) and we ended it. The thread was about FSUHALL.

But it's all good.

Unless the situation with their QB was just something beyond their control, the fact that he didn't play may have been FSU's fault.

trueeagle, fsu did everything right.  for some reason the ciaa would not let him play.  they waited till the 11th hour to do so.

That was very unfortunate for FSU and the young man.

The problem of the coaches not knowing if a player is allowed to play is causing a lot of problems.  How can the coaches prepare for a game if they do not know what players are going to be able to play.  Both FSU and A&T had this problem this week, and NCCU had a number of players unable to play, because of some paper work was not complete.  What can we do about it?

FSUHALL is going to be all right. FSU has only won about five times against WSSI since he stepped on campus 20+ years ago. He was 0 for his career and got through it just fine. Even with the 25th closing fast, he will manage.
