New ice cream from Blue Bell loaded with flavor

BRENHAM - What’s in a name? Well, if it’s the name of the newest flavor from Blue Bell, there is a whole lot – Caramel Turtle Cheesecake Ice Cream. ::) :no: :brickwall:
The new flavor combines a luscious cheesecake ice cream with chocolate-coated caramel turtles, roasted pecans, and cheesecake pieces with a chocolate cookie crust all surrounded by a smooth caramel sauce.
“I’m not sure if there is anything else we could have squeezed into this half gallon,” said Paul Kruse, Blue Bell CEO and president. “We’ve taken all the flavorful ingredients in this popular cheesecake dessert and combined them with our ice cream. You’ll taste caramel, pecans and lots of cheesecake pieces in every bite. Dare I say our ice cream has an even richer flavor than the cheesecake itself?”
Caramel Turtle Cheesecake Ice Cream will be available for a limited time beginning in September.
Also this month, look for Snickerdoodle Ice Cream in your grocer’s freezer. Blue Bell introduced the flavor in 2008, and due to consumer demand is making it available again this year. Snickerdoodle Ice Cream is a flavorful ice cream with chunks of snickerdoodle cookies and a praline-cinnamon swirl.
