Tailgating and donations from supermarkets???

I was told a few minutes ago that supermarkets will donate food for a tailgate if you ask. You Cats ever done that with your local markets? I've never heard of such but  if this is something they typically do, I will certainly ask.  :shrug:

Supermarkets will give donations to local events $20.00 with no questions asked. However, larger donations require a little political clout.
