i really wonder if the weather for the Magic City Classic was similar to that of the SWAC Championship Game, what would the AAMU fan attendance would be.

because i thot of it...that's why....you, like i know good and damned well AAMU fans would be out there in droves for the MCC.  wearing proper gear to keep them warm yet fashionable for the game and festivities.  maybe the MCC carries more importance to the Bulldog Nation than does the SWAC Championship.

"You don't go to a football game to be cute, you go to watch the game."

Try to tell that to MOST of the women at HBCUs both when they're students AND alums!  lol

Dahill, be nice.  Real talk, that video that Slope posted was tight.  You could feel all of those years of frustration being released when they beat Grambling and won the SCG.   lol  They have some very hungry fans.  I hope they keep it up and develop a good traveling fan base, similar to the one they brought to Birmingham.

DRUMMA1,

It was reported that at the SCG PVAMU had several thousand fans that travell over 700 miles from Prairie View to B'ham.  AAMU fans barely showed up.   They were far outnumbered by the PVU fans.  It was obvious watchign that game on TV last year.

lets be real.... the championship game is IN Alabama.... its a gametime decision as far as weather... How many people are you going to get to go to a game with freezing RAIN... when you can watch the game live.  PV folks had already made plans for the game, bought plain tickets, reserved hotels back 3 weeks before when they found out they were going to the championship game for the first time in 4 decades.  It was COLD (under 30 degrees) and raining... I didnt even go the game and I have NEVER missed a SWAC Championship game.  I sat in the rain one game last year and got sick as hell... had to miss 3 days of work... I was good watching on tv.

You support your team no matter what. Maybe the Bullmutt fans dont understand this concept. Most SWAC title games have has terrible wheather but that didnt stop everyone else's fans from showing up. We won the SWAC title in 07 in awful conditions but that didnt stop JSU fans from showing up in HUGE numbers.

you cant compare the two... MCC is a planned event... hell most hotels in Bham are sold out NOW.  The SWAC Championship game isnt a planned event.... Its no different from Tuskegee having more fans at the Turkey Day Classic than they do at the Pioneer Bowl.

Started raining with 8:23 left in the 3rd to be perfectly honest with you, I have the DVD of the game right here. Moving right on along, JSU fans always show up when there is something on the line, your fans dont. You have a sorry fan base, GET OVER IT! Roll Eyes

like I said it wasnt no horrible weather and weather in the 3rd quarter WONT affect attendance at a football game... So JSU fans only show up when something is on the line?  Does that make them REAL fans?  Real fans will be at a game no matter how the team is doing...We saw during the Bell era how many TRUE fans JSU has.

We all know with HBCU's people attend games based on who the team is playing... JSU will always have more "fans" at a SU game than they will at a UAPB game.  AAMU simply only has one rivalry game in the SWAC and that is Bama State.  Every other school is 5 plus hours away... another thing Most SWAC schools are in a predonminately Black city.  Huntsville is about 27% Black.... thats not the case in Jackson, Baton Rouge, Houston, Lorman, Itta Bena, Pine Bluff or Montgomery.

That's laughable Dahill, trying to compare Skegee's TDC vs Pioneer Bowl attendance when the freaking hub of AAMU's fans and alums is well within the BHM MSA and the epicenter of which is Legion Field.

Cash money bet, we still have more fans at the Pioneer Bowl than yall did at the SCG last year.   put up or shut up homey....

Seriously doubt it, you only 5,500 people at the entire game.
Once again.... who gives a damn.... did your fans suit up for you when we kicked your a**  in Indy last year?  If only fans=wins.  We talking about a football game.... and you talking attendance.
