People are being excluded from the public school sponsored proms.  What's the difference.  People were excluded from my prom.

Private sponsored proms have always been the norm in the school district that I grew up in.

Folks this is the SAME old crap they pulled on BLACK people in schools and school districts here in Florida back in the late '60s and early '70s during intergration.  Angry

We had two seperate proms up until the mid '70s in my hometown. Hell, we had two Homecomming Queens (and Courts) up until the 1980s at my High School!!! (Mostly so THEY would have a queen; up until recently we out-numbered them or it was 50/50 and all the coolest people were black. Wink )

When will people learn that discrimination is discrimination and it is ALL wrong?  shrug
