I could watch it and enjoy it but it is not a strong part for Latifah. I'm beginning to think that she is a  weak actress. I don't ever recalling seeing much range in her acting abilities.  He characters have always been the same, kind of like Eddie Murphy.

I believe you are referring to Set It Off.  I do like Queen Latifah as an entertainer, but I somewhat agree with Cap.  The movies I can recall had her playing the tough woman role or someone that's in command.

It was re-run about a month ago on some channel.  I watched it again.  It's decent, but Latifah's character was just that...a character.
