Payton to be the fifth President of Tuskegee University. In 1982, Dr. Brimmer became Chairman of the Tuskegee University Board of Trustees and has remained so since then.
Dr. Brimmer holds a B.A. and M.A. in Economics from the University of Washington and earned a Ph.D. in Economics at Harvard University in 1957.
