This is interesting. DSU, HU, MSU, NSU, HIU, NCA&T, NCCU, SCSU, BCU, FAMU, and now SSU playing football in the MEAC. Add UMES and CSU for basketball. We would have had 14 teams if WSSU had of stayed their course,,,,,but,,,, shrug

So how is this gonna work for football? Will it be:
NORTH:                        SOUTH:
DSU                              NCCU
MSU                              NCA&T
HU                                SCSU
NSU                              SSU
HIU                               FAMU
                                     BCU

If this is the case, I hope we can keep games with A&T, SCSU, NCCU and FAMU/BCU!!!!!!!!!! nod

I wonder if the CIAA is getting ready to grab another team from the MEAC

Who from the MEAC would move back to the CIAA?

Congrats to SSU.  Being a part of a conference will help their program immensely.

So who is the 12th team going to be?

Having WSSU in the mix made NC the clear cut border state between MEAC North and South. But now, who knows how this is going to play out. all i know is we are getting closer and closer to Thomas' Final Solution...

Slope,

I don't know but it just seem odd.  I think either Sav State had another option for a conference and the MEAC had to act quickly or I just see another team leaving out.  I just hate having an odd amount of teams in the conference.

Praying, "GOD, please don't let our MEAC Champ have to forego the NCAA FCS Playoffs for some chitlin circuit championship that will mean absolutely positively nothing. AMEN." I feel better already! Grin
