After going through a whole of foolishness with my Dell Laptop, I am looking at an Apple.

Any suggestions regarding the Mac Book or Mac Book Pro?

Which is better or are they about the same?

My daughter will be using mostly for school reports and projects and I'll use it sometimes.

The plain MacBook will be fine. There is little difference aside from processor speed and memory.
