UNCF's Evening of Starts will be broadcast this weekend and Tuskegee alumnus Lionel Richie will be the honored guest. He is the first UNCF alumnus to be honored. I'm asking all of you to please watch some, if not all, of this show. This year's show will fature: Akon, Natalie Cole, Cedric the Entertainer, Ledisi, James Ingram, Boney James, Quincvy Jones, Jesse McCartney, Brian McKnight, Chrisette Michele, Shemar Moore, Ne-yo, Romeo, Shaun Robinson, Smokey Robinson, Will.i.am, and others.

Please check your local listing for broadcast times. If not on a local channel in your area, you can watch on BET or WGN on cable.
