full story

LOS ANGELES —  Software giant Microsoft Corp. is apologizing for altering a photo on its Web site to change the race of one of the people shown in the picture.

A photo on the Seattle-based company's U.S. Web site shows two men, one Asian and one black, and a white woman seated at a conference room table. But on the Web site of Microsoft's Polish business unit, the black man's head has been replaced with that of a white man. The color of his hand remains unchanged.

No shock seen it before. Eastern Europe is a hard place for black people to do business in. Add the fact that this has been going on for a fews year now. Microsoft is not the only one who does it. They can`t do it in the states but countries like Poland because everybody looks like everybody else (white) they don`t have those kinds of laws.

I always laugh at certain people over here who complain about racism here.

Massive co-sign with Lonewolf.  It is extremely difficult doing business in certain portions of Europe.  I have a few European-based clients and it was tough sledding getting the work despite having them see and fully understand what I deliver as their client.

Wasn't there an hbcu that whitewashed pics on their website to make their school look more diverse?

I won't mention said school's name as I kinda understand what they were attempting to do.

But, I am kinda shocked at microsoft.

As the economy gets worst you are going to see more of this type of things. there are only a few countries that have laws against this sort of thing.
